Nella location del Shrine Auditorium di Los Angeles, in California, martedi 22 marzo sono stati assegnati i premi iHeartRadio Music Awards 2022. Giunti alla nona edizione, i riconoscimenti del famoso circuito radiofonico statunitense celebrano gli artisti e le canzoni più ascoltate sulle stazioni iHeartRadio e sull’app iHeartRadio per tutto il 2021. La kermesse musicale, tornata in presenza, ha richiamato gli artisti statunitensi più famosi e le star del musica internazionale.
Tra i protagonisti della serata, i Måneskin che hanno vinto il premio Best New Alternative Artist. Damiano, Victoria, Ethan e Thomas erano candidati anche nelle categorie Best New Pop Artist e TikTok Bop of the Year, nelle quali ha trionfato, invece, Olivia Rodrigo.

La rock band italiana solo pochi giorni fa ha annunciato le date del tour mondiale Loud Kids Tour con 48 tappe tra nord America ed Europa (la vendita dei biglietti inizierà venerdì 25 marzo). Dal tour sono state escluse le date dei concerti che avrebbero dovuto tenersi in Russia. “Siamo devastati per il popolo ucraino e siamo solidali con loro”, hanno scritto sul loro profilo Instagram.
Durante lo show, presentato dal rapper e attore statunitense LL Cool J., il pubblico che ha riempito lo Shrine Auditorium ha potuto godersi dal vivo le esibizioni di alcune delle star che hanno calcato il palco dello Shrine Auditorium. Oltre ai Måneskin, si sono esibiti artisti del calibro di John Legend, Megan Thee Stallion, Jennifer Lopez, Billy Porter, per citarne alcuni. JLo, accompagnata da Ben Affleck che l’ha ammirata dalla platea ha ricevuto il prestigioso iHeartRadio Music Icon Award.
